Friday 9th July

10/07/18 – Today I will become a better author by creating a ‘book trailer’ to advertise the book ‘The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane’ by Kate Dicamillo.

We have now finished reading the book and to finish ‘our journey’ we watched a book trailer for ‘The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane’. After watching the trailer, we then got into groups and created our own book trailers using PowerPoint and then presented them to the rest of the class using Spotify to add the background music.

Friday 6th July

The pictures below show our French lesson from this Tuesday. We used this lesson to build on the conversations we were able to have in our previous lessons by learning how to also say 'My name is...' and 'I am seven/eight/nine'. Below are the translations of what we were able to say.

03/07/18: French – How are you (Ca va)?

-      Yes I’m well thank you (Oui, ca va bien, merci).

-      Yes I’m very well thank you (Oui, ca va tres bien, merci).

-      No I’m not too good (Non, ca va mal).

-      No I’m feeling terrible (Non, ca va tres mal).

-      OK (Comme ci, comme ca).

03/07/18: French - ‘My name is…and I am seven/eight/nine (Je m’appelle…et j'ai sept/huit/neuf ans.’
