Friday 6th December

Today was our Christingle service at the church. Having made our Christingles and talked about the relevance of each aspect of them earlier in the week, today we were able to take them to the church and light them. We also sang 'Away in a Manger' and a song from our Christmas play during the service, a service which focused on the importance of sharing (some of us even got given some chocolates for the parts we played). At the end of the day, we got to take our Christingles home with us.

Friday 29th November

We started this week's PSHE lesson by watching a video about a young boy called Jack who was just standing by while his friend Liam was being bullied.

The children then had a go at writing down their answers to some questions about the video which were put up on the board.

We then discussed what answers we had put to these questions by passing ‘Jigsaw Jazz’ around as a talking object.

Finally, the children got into groups and acted out a scene where someone was being bullied in some way but, instead of just watching, a passer by ‘stood up’ to the bullies in some way. When each group had finished they announced one of the three slogans written on the board.

Today was our trip to the Time and Tide Museum in Great Yarmouth where we took part in an Anglo Saxons vs Vikings workshop. Below are some pictures of our day.
